The Mind Of Christ
As we come out of the world into the kingdom of light we are being transformed into the mind of Christ and as such we must put it on to walk with Christ and to walk in him.
How do we do that?
One might say read and study the scriptures but there is a proper way to do that.
1Jn 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
1Jn 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.
We need the Spirit to teach us and not man and that includes ourselves. Our flesh will not teach us anything but the Spirit within us will teach us all things.
However, it is not just time spent on God reading and studying the scriptures but spending time in the spiritual presence of Christ and hearing the Spirit speak to us.
Yet this is not one sided as we humbly approach God and thank him and ask him to cleanse us of our short coming so we can in truth approach God.
God has put in us an earnest desire to know him and serve him and so in that way we are being spiritually transformed and put on the mind of Christ.
We ask God questions and a lot of questions because God has filled our minds with them to ask him!
We want to ask God what is on his mind and what is his will and how can we co-work with him.
The Lord asks us to know him, and his ways, and his purposes.
If we do not do this then how can we co-work with God?
We can not put on the mind of Christ if we do not know him!
Let us ask the Lord how he wants to work spiritually in us moment by moment because he is a lamp for our feet to show us the way in which to walk.
Putting on the mind of Christ is receiving God's Spirit moment by moment so we walk in God's ways and not the way of the world.
A close and intimate and abiding relationship in Christ is the only way to put on the mind of Christ and walk with him
God bless you all!
