The Affluent Pharmaceuticals
I suspect I’m not about to tell you something you don’t already know when I affirm the drug corporations in our nation are professional “Pick-Pockets.” The raw truth is that America’s drugs are the costliest of any nation on Earth. There is hardly a major TV program on the Internet that is not flooded with Pharmaceutical commercials. Over the past few years, I have closely observed how the cartelizing drug companies monopolize the drug industry.

And they are experts at manipulating a new drug’s name—a drug whose composition is practically the same, if not the same, as other drugs under a different epithet created by the same Pharmaceutical maker! Almost every day on TV, and especially on the Newscasts, I see a new drug advertised—yes, and even advertised to treat the same biological malady as other drugs advertised prior to their construction.

When will the Food & Drug Administration step in and put a halt to these wealthy drug corporations that are picking our pockets? Or does the Food and Drug Administration occupy a twin room adjacent to the big drug companies?

Yep.

They will not.
Or does the Food and Drug Administration occupy a twin room adjacent to the big drug companies?
Nope. They are sharing a bed.

I know this may seem like something out of left field (no pun intended) but reading Francis Schaeffer's trilogy would be a very good thing to do for anyone who hasn't done so already. He spoke to situations like this more than 40 years ago and he did so at a presuppositional level that helps us understand this is about more than hawking drugs.

America is supposed to follow the rule of law and apply that rule to all its institutions, including those ruling the rule. The only way capitalism, or open markets, work is if and when capitalists act ethically and because man is sinful there are always some who do not act as moral agents. Nothing wrong with money, but the love of it is the root of all evil. When those charged with insuring lawful capitalism themselves become lawless political and fiscal incest ensues. It worsens when the institutions existing to declare truth - both the truth of wrongdoing and the truth of lawfulness - about both the rulers and the market(s) abdicate the rule of law that is supposed to govern them, too. Did any of you know the journalists have a professional code of ethics? Read it. Then measure the news casts tonight, tomorrow, and the rest of the week and see if you can find a single broadcast that lives up to those standards. Keep in mind the greatest power the media has is the power NOT to report. Silence and lies of omission kill civil, lawful, godly society. Pluralism works only if it is a moral pluralism. Medicine, business, government, news, etc.? They all work best when the rule of law is practiced and wherever it is not then everyone suffers.

And there's only one guy who wants everyone to suffer 🤫.
