I guess that I'm generation x, barely.

The Greatest Generation (GI Generation) -- Born 1901–1927

The Silent Generation Born -- 1928–1945

Baby Boom Generation -- Born 1946–1964

Generation X -- Born 1965–1980

Millennial Generation or Generation Y -- Born 1981–1996

Generation Z or iGen -- Born 1997–2010

Generation Alpha -- Born 2010-2024

Generation Beta -- Born 2025-2039

What do you think the Bible generations would be called?

Generation between Gen. 3:6 and Babel tower = Gen Self-Idol
Generation of the flood = Gen Dead
Generation between Egypt and Promised Land = The Wanderers
Post-Judges generation = Gen Stub (short for stubborn)
Generation of the Jesus' earthly ministry = Gen Evil or Gen Perv
Post-Pentecost generation = Gen Praise
Generation of Christians after scripture closed = Gen2Gen

Be careful. The next thing we'll know some fool will come along and invent a theology around this idea and call it Generational Premillennialism 🤪

Just kidding
.

Edit for Post #2:

"...and call it Generational Millennialism 🤪 "

(there's no need to limit the inanity to premillennialism ;))

I think at some point in time in life we stop changing with the times and get set in our ways. I don't use cell phones and probably never will. When I was growing up, phones were considered a nuisance. Unless, of course, you stretched that phone cord to the max under your bedroom door so the you could speak to your middle school girlfriend in private. This generational thing, I guess it's nothing new. Baby boomers is an old phrase. 'The Who' came out with "My generation" back in the sixties. I would call my generation the hangover generation. That 70's show...
