What would you say are some of the most piercing or convicting questions found in Scripture?
Here are three I can think of, please feel free to add your own...

Genesis 3:9 NASB
Then the LORD God called to the man, and said to him (Adam), "Where are you?"

Matthew 16:26 ESV
For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul?

John 6:67 ESV
So Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you want to go away as well?"
John 6:67 ESV
So Jesus said to the twelve, "Do you want to go away as well?"

Interesting.

hmmm....
I think about these things often but since you asked? Ha, I can't think of any.

But I will

Another one...
“Who do you say I am?” (Matthew 16:15)

Interesting.

BTW, while you're thinking, feel free to move this thread to the appropriate area. I wasn't sure where to place it.

.
Heb 10:12........ But this man, " AFTER " he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever sat down IN the right of God

:13 FROM HENCEFORTH EXPECTING UNTIL HIS ENEMIES BE MADE HIS FOOTSTOOL.

the great question is answered - after his enemies are made a footstool Jesus expects that he will no longer sit OUT the right of God and he expects that he will sit IN of the right of God

Mar 12:36 For David himself said by the Spirit Of The Holy, The LORD said to my Lord, Sit thou OUT OF my right UNTIL I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Heb 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit OUT OF my right UNTIL I make thine enemies thy footstool?

meaning = he is expecting until the TIME COMES that his enemies be made a footstool - he will then sit IN the right of God
