Reactions: HIM
Well of HIM anyway. I am Scott, nice to be here.
Welcome, Scott. Not meaning to be contentious, here, but why did you introduce yourself by that title, "I am HIM" —Clickbait? Seems a bit dangerous, or careless, at least.

Seems contentious. What else was said in the post?

It may have been contentious, and if so, I am sorry. I hope that was not my intention, but sometimes, I don't know my own reasons for doing something.

Yes, I did read your "correction" in the post. But the title did put a bit of sand in my craw. I recently ran into a clickbait link —to draw people into seeing what else they were selling— of Christian nomenclature, that was rather obviously not what they were actually selling. To me, that is falsehood, done for false purposes. And it was offensive without any ring of Heresy.

Screenname is HIM. So with that being said of coarse I am HIM. But in retrospect not HIM, but of HIM.
Can't say I see a reason for it to be questioned but hay we all have baggage.
Ok, that is reasonable. Somehow I did not see the pun, which is unusual for me. Thanks for the explanation. My bad.

No reason to apologize but thank you. I definitely understand your concerns.

Just in respect to sharing I have biblical reasons for the screenname choice which does refer to God. Phil. 2:13; Act 17:28; Gal 2:16, 3:27,28; John 17:21-23 to name a few.

Look forward to seeing you out in the forums. You seem to be very serious in your relationship with God and His way. Nice to see that.

Thank you for your understanding.

By the way, I love the verses you referenced and they are appropriate. This subject is one of what to me is of prime importance to understanding what God made us for and what he is doing in us, and what things will be like in Heaven. John 17 is more than a little unsettling, scary! to think God puts that much stock in us!

It is also for this reason that I see monergism in not only our regeneration, but in all subsequent works of faith. We are involved, and we MUST do it, but when we do, it is God who did it. As one poster on CF has for his handle, "Not Me".
