for the candidates which have shown themselves to be of such wicked character. We would be complicit in their resulting acts which would be sure to come, to say nothing of their past or known evil they have. Can a Christian vote or must they stand aside?

Instead of trying to read their minds/spirits (except those continually blatant), we should vote on their policies.

Should a christian only vote vote for another christian..and if there are no christian candidates stand aside? I say no.

That would be like saying a christian should only use a christian contractor or buy a car from a christian salesman. You should vote for who you believe will be best for the job.

Sure we can. We're not electing a "Pastor", we're electing a political official, who will govern us a part of our national "Constitutional Republic".

It's all a matter of finding the "Clean end" of the turd.

imho, in good conscience the answer is no. Both major parties are corrupt in differing ways. So one holds their nose and votes for what is believed to be the lesser evil. Yet, the lesser is still evil.
In many cases, the third party is no better and contains the worst parts of the majority two.

But if they do not fear God to say nothing of man, wouldnt you ask God and wait for Him to send you a contractor/salesman who does at least fear Him.

Sure - we're not voting for somebody to be our "Spiritual leader". Politics is all about trying to pick up the turd by the "Clean end".

We can ask God to send a believer as a candidate for an office....doesn't mean He will.
