Yes. Welcome to the forum!Hello! Thank you for the warm welcome.
The Ryrie study bible! I haven't heard that in quite a few years. That was one of my first Bibles. I still have it put away.Well, I don’t belong to any specific denomination, and I don’t like putting on labels like calling myself “evangelical” or “Calvinist” or “reformed.” I simply go by Christian. I don’t adhere to any particular statement of faith, but I would consider the 1689 LBCF to be a doctrinally accurate summary of what I believe today.
I am growing in knowledge every day and am worlds apart from where I was even a year ago. I continue to use my Ryrie study bible from early in my walk, as I often go back to my old notes and jot down new ones and mark where I may agree or disagree with others.

If you don't mind answering, why do you hesitate to use or prefer to avoid those particular terms?
When you say that, do you also mean that you're not currently a member of a local church?
(Note: There is a difference, of course, between attending a church and being an active member in good standing.)
Because of the divisiveness it causes.
I’m actively involved in a Baptistic, nondenominational church, and whether or not I’m in good standing is between myself, God, and whatever I may disclose to my pastor if the need arises. I reject the concept of church membership as the mechanism to determine such things.
