well, hello there everyone.
my name is Mike i am a 40-year-old male from Minnesota. My faithwalk has been very solid and now im anticipateing entering full time ministry. bible college and seminary training are on the horizon in my near future and im looking for a community where constructive debates can take place. i hope thates here!

This may be a good place for test-runs, of your ideas and Seminary Thoughts. Of course, we're not Seminary; and we shouldn't want to be a stumbling block. Find an appropriate Board on this Forum to put us to the test...

Its a good place to have your beliefs tested and develop a good apologetic to defend what you believe and why you believe it. My mothers side of the family is from Minnesota and growing up I went on vacations every year for 3-4 weeks in the 60's - 70's. That is where Iearned how to fish as a youth catching Walleye and Northern Pike. Fond memories.

interestingly enough you hit the nail on the head. my two main topics of interest are apologetics and defense of the gospel.
are you spying on me...?? or perhaps anointed? in either case, thank you for the words of encouragement :).

My one regret from a human perspective was not going to seminary and getting a degree in my 20's. I know its never to late. But I have never let that stop me in my pursuit of God and studying theology my entire life. My son in law who is a pastor said he envies my library :). I'm working on getting ordained ( through my church ) so I can be a chaplain in my retirement years in a hospice setting. There are many ways we can serve in minisrty both with or without a seminary degree. But having one sure helps lol.
