My "book of the month" is David Kupelian's "The Snapping of the American Mind". It's not a theology book, but it is Christian-based, and it's very relevant to what's happening just now (not only in America). It deals with the systematic "unchristianising" of America, by gas-lighting and intimidation.

The same kind of thing is happening here in Britain, although some details are different.

We need to speak and live according to the Bible, in all walks of life, and not stay silent when we should stand up for what's right and true.

Amen!

Agree! Christ-followers are called to do so. We are provided the words to speak from the Word, our one offensive weapon—our “Sword.” We also have the power of the Holy Spirit working within us to prompt us to speak bravely and with confidence what our Father wants known and to comfort us in uncomfortable situations.

This world is becoming less and less comfortable; more and more corrupt—just as Jesus predicted it would be. So we shouldn’t be surprised. He has even told us what to do if we’re ever in the “hot seat,”. otherwise known as the hour of temptation.

But when they arrest you and deliver you up, do not worry beforehand, or premeditate what you will speak. But whatever is given you in that hour, speak that; for it is not you who speak, but the Holy Spirit. Now brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child; and children will rise up against parents and cause them to be put to death. And you will be hated by all for My name’s sake. But he who endures to the end shall be saved. (Mark 13:11-13)

Let the redeemed of the LORD say so…. (Psalm 107:2)

I agree
Don’t tell a post mill that. 🙂

Joel Osteen, the author of "Your Best Life Now" obviously wrote it from a post mil perspective.

I think he wrote the book of Joel too, has his name on it.
I think Osteen wrote his book from a post sanity perspective; although, I'm sure it was lucrative.

I'm above and not below, the head and not the tail. I'm not the sick, I'm the healed; I'm not the sick tryyyying to be healed! Can I hear an Amen?

No "Amen"? GOOD!

Edit:

I used to know a WoF adherent and he played cassettes of people like Kenneth Copeland, every day (ugh!). He was Welsh, but he'd listened to Copeland so often that he had developed an American accent!

Indeed. I would almost say, the man in possessed. Oops, I did say it. 😎

I'm reading a book just now, called "Touch Not The Unclean Thing", by David Sorenson. It's about the defence of the Bible as the inerrant, providentially preserved and infallible word of God. It's excellent and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants to know about the background of the text underlying our Bible translations.
